Sunday the Much Music Video Awards (MMVA) will include performers Imagine Dragons, Hedley, Lorde, and the Sam Roberts Band. Presenters include Marianas Trench, with hosts Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Kim Kardashian’s younger half-sisters have modeled, done some fashion designing and publishing, as well as appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“We don’t want to think about it too much,” said 16-year-old Kylie. “If we overthink it, it will not end well. We’re just going to try to have fun with it.”
“We want to keep it fun and light,” 18-year-old Kendall said. “We just want to have fun and be ourselves. We both really enjoy Lorde’s music,” said Kendall. “I think she’s sick. I don’t know. She’s different. She’s awesome.”
“I feel like there’s always been a bit of nerves, but there’s a first time for everything, like why not? We’ll do our best,” Kendall said.
Earlier this year at the Billboard Awards, Kendall was to introduce a band, 5 Seconds of Summer, but accidentally began by calling them “One…” (Direction). She dated Harry Styles. When she got the band’s name right she said, “Guys, I’m the worst reader.” Yet both sisters have written a book. Rebels: City of Indra — written with the help of Maya Sloan is a futuristic novel about two girls with superpowers who embark on a journey.
